It’s simple: “Use Less, Pay Less”

What is a WATT (W)? Answer: A measure of how much electricity you use. What is a Kilowatt (kW)? Answer: A kilowatt is 1000 watts. What is a Kilowatt hour (kWh)? Answer: The amount of kilowatts used in one hour.

Important Information: ASPA’s residential rate as of April 2008 was about $0.35 / kWh. What that means… If you consume 1,000 kWh of electricity per month your bill will be 1,000 kWh x $0.35 / kWh = $350. If you reduce your usage to 800 kWh of electricity per month you can save up to $70. That’s $70 more in your pocket. What would you do with an extra $70?
